General information & the future development of this website

Although What's on in Exeter began its life with the purpose of primarily advertising live music entertainment and other music events, we have subsequently included a Charity Events & Other Information page at the request of many of our subscribers. However, this website has increasingly received more of those requests to include other events and therefore we are in the process of overhauling the look and the fundamental purpose of the website to offer a more diverse coverage of what is available to entertain you and your family in and around Exeter.

We will continue to advertise live musical events both on this page and on our Events Calendar but will soon be allocating more space and some larger sections on this page to various other entertainment venues, as well as having an expanded "more information" page.

Further detailed information is not available at this time as re-designing the website takes some forethought and, therefore, time.

Please Contact us if you have any suggestions or would like your venue/event listed

Thank you for your continued support as we endeavour to improve this website

Bands & other providers of entertainment

Due to the increased bandwidth use brought on by more than 32,000 subscribers a month, we will no longer be able to offer free profile pages for bands/entertainers who appear on any of our pages.

However, if you are an entertainer who is not included anywhere on our website, (bands, karaoke, DJ, solo artist etc.), contact us with your details or website links and we'll include them for FREE on the relevant page. Contact us by e-mail

Venue owners/managers

If you are the proprietor of a venue that offers entertainment and want to enter your events, please contact us and let us know the type of events that your venue is interested in advertising.

If you are eligible, we'll supply you with the means to enter your own events on our website Events Calendar. Contact us by e-mail
