Although What's on in Exeter began its life with the purpose of primarily advertising live music entertainment in Exeter, we have now received so many requests from our many subscribers to include more diverse information that we've had to overhaul the site to reflect these changes. We hope you will find that it is now less cluttered and easier to navigate.

Hells Bells

Formed in 1996 and hailing from Bristol, Hells Bells has evolved into perhaps the most well known and professional AC/DC tribute band in the United Kingdom. Touring the length and breadth of Britain & Ireland for over 20 years playing the music of the iconic rock legends, Hells Bells have built up a loyal following of fans and continue to do so wherever they play.

Counterfeit Sixties

Re-live the sounds of the swinging sixties, as Britainís No. 1 tribute show brings alive the magic of the sixties with their tribute to over twenty five bands of that era. The show encompasses everything from that period, from the clothes that were worn, to flashbacks from television history, including TV programmes, adverts and even clips from the original bands.

The Story of Guitar Heroes
The Corn Exchange, Exeter

Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Hank Marvin, Brian May and Slash are just some of the outstanding guitar heroes you will have chance to experience in one amazing show!

This live concert style 'rockumentary' is performed by the talented and renowned musician Phil Walker and his band.

With over 30 guitars used on stage, the show accurately recreates the sound and ambiance of each guitar hero starting from the 1950's to the present day.

Hospiscare Menís Walk

Start/finish - The Double Locks, Exeter
Sat 16th Mar

Start from 1:15pm


Participants will walk a new linear route along the Exe Valley Way and River Exe to the Millers Crossing Bridge and back, with live music and refreshments along the way.

Walkers will be welcomed back to The Double Locks with a FREE pint and a pasty while enjoying the Six Nations England v Scotland match shown within Hospiscare's EXCLUSIVE & FURTHER EXTENDED Hospiscare Six Nations bar.

Distance: 8 miles
Start times: Registration will be open from 12:30pm Ė 2:00pm. Once registered you will be able to commence walking as and when you are ready from 1:15pm.
Entry Fee: Individual entry is only £25 and includes your Men's Walk t-shirt, a refreshing pint and a hot pasty after the walk! Sign up as a team of 4 for only £80 (£20 each).
