Welcome to What’s on in Exeter

When visiting any of these web pages, please right-click and choose "Reload" or "Refresh", depending on which browser you are using, as the website is constantly being updated.

This website, (& especially the What’s On Calendar of Events), was set up at the request of a few local pub owners who were concerned that there was no way of letting local people know about the entertainment in their pubs/clubs/venues since the demise of “What’s On” in the local paper.

So 3 years on &, (thanks to word-of-mouth), we currently have an average of 14,000 hits a month which means that it has indeed filled that gap.

As well as having a What’s on in Exeter Calendar of Events, we decided that it would be useful if the organisers of bands/entertainment could find information & contact details of the acts themselves & where the acts could also find a space to promote themselves, so that has now been included.

St Thomas Community Festival

Sat 13th September - Midday-6.00pm

St Thomas Pleasure Ground, Cowick Street, Exeter

There is no entry fee to this annual festival and it is a non profit-making event with all money raised going towards next year's event.

A great innovation by the St Thomas Community Association, this is another example of their work in helping to enhance St Thomas's growing prominance whilst helping towards building a good community spirit.

We attended last year's St Thomas Festival and found that there was a good atmosphere and plenty to see and do: with stalls, hot food and live music featuring many well-known local bands and artists.

It's worth popping down for something different to do on a Saturday afternoon even if you don't live in the St Thomas area as this deserves to be supported and we're sure you'll have an enjoyable afternoon out, FREE OF CHARGE.

The artists performing this year are:

Holly Morwenna

Jimmy Ireland

Karl Zumar

 Ben Norcombe

The Family, (Americana)

Spilt Milk

SPIN 2, (Roots/folk/rock)

Mudskippers, (Acoustic World Folk)

The Real Ish Band.
